Publication Ethics Statement and Publication Malpractice Statement
This statement describes the ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in the BLESS publication process, including authors, editors, peer reviewers, and publishers (LPPM Universitas Widya Dharma Pontianak).

Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
The publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals such as BLESS LPPM Universitas Widya Dharma Pontianak is an important component in the development of a respected knowledge network. It reflects the quality of the authors' work and the institutions that support them. Articles that have undergone peer review contain and uphold scientific methods. Therefore, it is important to establish ethical behavior standards expected of all parties involved in publication: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and the public.

As a publisher, LPPM Universitas Widya Dharma Pontianak is committed to monitoring all stages of publication very seriously, recognizing ethical and other responsibilities. We ensure that advertising, reprinting, or other commercial income does not influence editorial decisions. In addition, LPPM Universitas Widya Dharma Pontianak and the BLESS Editorial Board facilitate communication with other journals and publishers when necessary.

Publication Decisions
The editor-in-chief of BLESS is responsible for deciding which articles to publish. This decision is based on recommendations from the journal's editorial board members and reviewers, taking into account legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editor consults with the editorial team and reviewers in making this decision.

Non-Discrimination
The editor and reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on their intellectual content, without discrimination based on the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.

Confidentiality
Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff must not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, the editorial team, and the publisher, as necessary.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Unpublished material disclosed in submitted manuscripts must not be used by members of the editorial board or reviewers in their own research.

Reviewer Duties

Contribution to Editorial Decisions
This journal uses a double-blind review process. Reviewers advise the editor-in-chief in making editorial decisions and assist authors in improving the quality of their research papers.

Timeliness
The journal editor is committed to providing timely reviews to authors. If a reviewer fails to submit their report on time, the paper is immediately sent to another qualified reviewer.

Confidentiality
The content of manuscripts is treated with the utmost confidentiality. Except for the editor-in-chief, editors and reviewers may not discuss papers with others, including authors.

Standar Objektivitas
Editor dan reviewer harus mengevaluasi makalah berdasarkan konten. Komentar review harus dihormati dan dapat dibenarkan.

Acknowledgment of Sources
Reviewers should identify relevant works that have not been cited by the authors. Statements that observations, derivations, or arguments have been previously reported should be accompanied by relevant citations. Reviewers should inform the editor of any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and other published papers of which they are aware.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with the authors, companies, or institutions associated with the paper.

Author Responsibilities

Reporting Standards
Authors should present an accurate account of the work performed and discuss its significance objectively. Basic data should be accurately represented in the paper, with sufficient detail and references to permit others to reproduce the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable.

Data Access and Storage
Authors may be asked to provide raw data for editorial review and should be prepared to provide such data within a reasonable time frame.

Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and that they properly cite or quote the work and/or words of others. Papers with such issues will be automatically rejected, and authors will be notified accordingly.

Dual, Redundant, or Simultaneous Publication
Submitting authors must ensure that the paper has not been published and is not under consideration elsewhere. Simultaneous submission is unethical and unacceptable.

Acknowledgment of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others is required. Authors must cite publications that influenced their research.

Authorship
Authorship should be limited to those who have contributed significantly to the research. The corresponding author is responsible for keeping the other co-authors informed about the review process. Upon acceptance, all authors must sign a statement confirming the originality of the research work.

Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects
If the work involves chemicals, procedures, or equipment with inherent hazards, authors must clearly identify this in the manuscript.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of funding for the project must be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in a published work, they should promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate in retracting or correcting the paper.
