Abstract

Technology is created with the intention of improving the ease of doing the activity. One of positive technology utilization is technology utilization in the health field. The importance of information on the type of drug and its usefulness motivates the authors to raise the title of "Designing Dictionary of Web-Based Medicine Application". The author uses the design of causal relationship (experimental) research that includes experiments and testing of the applications made. Data collection techniques used are literature studies that include scientific books, scientific journals, theses, e-books, and other sources of both print and electronic. Systems analysis techniques using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling techniques. Application design techniques using Adobe Dream Weaver CS6. The research method used is Boyer Moore,  method to search on drug dictionary application. The application of drug dictionary is designed to provide convenience and knowledge to the public regarding the information of the drug type. The conclusion of this research is to help facilitate the public in knowing drug type information. As for suggestions that the author provide for the development of this application is, the application can be developed in the form of android based applications and interface can be designed more interesting and communicative. Keywords: application design, dictionary, drug, boyer moore
