ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN DAN PENJUALAN PADA PO SINAR MENTARI

Abstract

In this current era of globalization, computers can be found in every company. The rapid development of technology makes the computer easier to use and makes the computer much-needed by the company, especially in various fields of business. PO Sinar Mentari requires inventory and sales information systems to help companies to record transactions that occur every day. The reason to use inventory and sales information systems for company is the transactions logging are still done manually with record the transactions into the note. Not all the sales transactions are always recorded in the note after the transaction occurred which causing  absence of record-keeping regularly and structured by PO Sinar Mentari. The writer used  descriptive research as research method, for collecting data the writter used interview, observation, and literature review. Analysis technique system that used in this research is object oriented technique with Unified Modeling Language (UML) as the modeling application and Star UML version 2.6.0.0, for systems design that used in this research is object oriented technique with using MySQL version 5.0.45 as database design, the programming language that being used is Visual BASIC.NET 2010 with MySQL Connector 6.9.9 as connector between the database and the system, and the crystal report 13 for design the report. The output of this research is an inventory and sales information system that will be used by PO Sinar Mentari to fixing inventory and sales transactions record that not structured. In addition, the information system can also assist in facilitating the activities of purchase and sales transactions and providing quick and accurate information. The conclusions of this research are expected that information systems can be used by company to facilitate in recording purchase and sales transactions and reduce the problem of recording transactions that is not structured. The suggestions given by the writer for the system to run properly is the data input must be done accurately and do a database maintenance by backup the database.  Keywords: Analysis, Design, System Information, Inventory and Sales
