PERANCANGAN APLIKASI VIRTUAL REALITY KETERAMPILAN DASAR PENCAK SILAT SETIA HATI TERATE BERBASIS ANDROID

Abstract

The development of technological advancements feels so rapid, this is marked by the increasing function of mobile devices. Smartphones become the most desirable mobile devices by various groups with the features and capabilities provided. One of them is a smartphone with an Android-based system, with its advantages as an open source operating system that gives everyone the freedom to develop better and more useful applications. In application development, a method is needed to create an application design in this case the research uses the prototype method by providing an overview / design of the application designed to the user whether the application is designed in accordance with the wishes of the user, if not then here the writer asks for input and suggestions from the testers of this application , the next developer in order to conduct an application design study in accordance with the wishes of the user. System development using Android Studio 3.1, analysis and design techniques using object-oriented techniques, and system modeling tools using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams. This research resulted in an application of virtual reality based on android-based pencak silat skills which aims to provide an android-based pencak silat learning guide through the application of the basic skills of pencak silat in order to facilitate and help ordinary people who want to learn martial arts and can be used as a movement guide to improve physical fitness and spiritual body through martial arts movements. The conclusion obtained is that the application is designed to display pencak silat movements with a Virtual Reality display that is used to facilitate the learning of basic pencak silat movements. The suggestions given are to improve pencak silat guidelines, applications developed further can provide learning guides about gymnastics and moves and provide explanations in the form of audio to clarify any martial arts movements.   Keywords: Application, martial arts, Pencak Silat, Basic Silat Skill, Virtual Reality Motion
