PERANCANGAN GAME SMART MAZE BERBASIS EDUKASI DAN MULTIPLAYER MENGGUNAKAN METODE XML-RPC

Abstract

The game is an entertainment media that can be used by every group and can be used to reduce stress. Games also have other benefits such as developing the brain, training problem solving, increasing concentration, training speed, and others. Educational games are games that have an educational element that is obtained from something that exists and is inherent and becomes part of the game itself. One interesting educational game is maze games. The maze game is a game with a narrow road that winding and twisting and sometimes it is a dead end or a road that has obstacles. Multiplayer game is a game that can be played together by 2 people or more so that the players compete with each other. The method of research used by the author is the design of a causal relationship research as a research design. The author collects data by conducting literature studies and interviews, the author also uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram as a system analysis technique. The results of this study are maze games with multiplayer features using the XML-RPC Web Service method. This game can store player data, IP address, and player's current status. This game can involve 4 players who are members of the same game room. The conclusion of this game is that Smart Maze Game players can play with multiplayer mode by applying the XML-RPC method to support running multiplayer game features.   Keywords : Games, Multiplayer, XML-RPC, Educational Games, Web Service
