ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI ADMINISTRASI PERSEDIAAN BARANG PADA TOKO LANG LING

Abstract

The inventory and sales information system currently used in the Toko Lang Ling is still manually. Error recording and inaccuracy of data becomes an obstacle that is sometimes still experienced and can affect the information produced. With the limitations of the manually system found at Toko Lang Ling, the author tries to design an inventory administration information system that aims to provide solutions and problem solving in sales transactions, knowing the amount of inventory and the process of entering data faster and more precisely. The author uses descriptive research design as a research design. While the data collection methods used are interviews, observation and literature studies. System analysis and design techniques used by the authors in this study are object-based techniques using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling language as a modeling tool. The system design application used is database design with SQL Server 2008 as a storage medium, designing applications with Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 and designing reports with Crystal Report 13. With inventory administration information systems that have been computerized, the presentation of inventory reports, purchases, sales and debt payments will be faster and more accurate when compared to the current system. Suggestions from the conclusions obtained, the authors suggest that the inventory administration information system that has been created was developed with several additional features that are more complete, so that it can handle more complicated problems.   Keywords: Analysis, Designing, Information Systems, Administration, Inventory
