PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENGENALAN PETA, SOSIAL DAN BUDAYA ANTARMUKA INTERAKTIF UNTUK ANAK SD

Abstract

Learning or identifying the maps, social and cultures of Indonesian for elementary school-age wasn’t always running smoothly caused bylack of reading intention from the students. Therefore, author conducted this research for realize a computer-based application system that enable the elementary school students indentify all of Indonesian from a different way. Author uses text and multimedia so students can interact with the music and videos that presented by application. Author uses literature study, interview and observation as the research methods. To visualize the design of the system, author uses Unified Modeling Language (UML), Embarcadero Delphi 2010 programming language and Microsoft Access 2013 as database management tool. at the implementation phase, author present the main features, such as search field, random information in the homepage, 34 provinces list with their traditional songs and traditional festival list with its information and videos. Author uses black box method to test the application. The conclusion is that with this interactive application which helped with multimedia features, learning proccess is more fun and not boring users. As for suggestion that the author give is keep use the physical book because this application isn’t contains all updated information. Keywords: Teaching Tool, Map, Social and Culture, Learning
