PERANCANGAN WEBSITE PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI KELAS X (MATERI EKOSISTEM)

Abstract

As SMKN 01 Air Upas still applies a conventional learning system or face to face between teachers and educators. The  conventional learning  system is  thick  with  an instructional atmosphere  in  the  classroom. Conventional education is carried out by meeting at school. By adopting the old way which is entirely done in the classroom, is monotonous, and memorizing in class makes learning boring so that innovation in learning is needed so that learning is of higher quality. Therefore, we need a teaching device that will help students in learning. This teaching tool contains lessons that are designed with an attractive appearance so that students are interested in learning. The study used descriptive research methods. While the data collection method used is the method of interview, observation, literature study. The system design technique used in the research is object-oriented technique with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The system design application used is database design with MySQL 5.0, programming language used are Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), JavaScript, Hypertext Preprocessor 5.3 (PHP 5.3) and Hypertext Markup Language 5 (HTML5). The result of this research is the design of website-based teaching tools that are accessed online. From this research, it can be concluded that the design of teaching tools for biology subjects about the class X ecosystem at SMKN 01 Air Upas web-based can make it easier for teachers to deliver subject matter and can increase students' interest in learning.   Keywords: Design, Systems, Information, Teaching tools, web.
