RANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN PADA PD MEKAR INDAH ABADI

Abstrak

  PD Mekar Indah Abadi is a trading company engaged in the sale of diesel engines, spare parts and power  tools. Based on the results of observations, PD Mekar Indah Abadi is currently still using a manual system, customers who come to buy are still served conventionally by making written notes due to the absence of a computer-based sales information system. The authors designed a sales and inventory information system at PD Mekar Indah Abadi using a desktop-based goods sales information system, the company can generate reports more quickly and accurately. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and library studies. The author uses a descriptive research data design. The design of the system used in this research is a system analysis technique that is directed to use the UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling tool as a flow design between processes. The system design applications used are XAMPP and PHP Myadmin as database designs in MySQL, while desktop application designs use Visual Basic.Net 2010 and Crystal Report 13 as report designs. By using  this desktop application, companies can obtain computerized reports, so that services for transactions with  customers can be carried out easily and can help overcome the problems the company.   Keywords— Analysis, System Design, Information Systems, Sales, Mekar Indah Abadi
