Abstrak

The development of technology today plays an important role for a company, for example to help businesses in the coffee shop field which can make ordering faster and provide convenience for customers. The process of ordering drinks at Cafe Jezra still uses conventional methods such as recording orders, having difficulty reading the waitress's writing or the cashier's section which can make mistakes in calculating the total price. Therefore it is necessary to change the system to facilitate the process of ordering drinks at Café Jezra. The author uses a descriptive research design as a research design, and the data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and literature study. System analysis and design techniques used are object-oriented techniques with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, and pplication design using Android Studio with Java programming language and MySQL as the database. This research resulted in an interactive drink ordering application, where customers can order drinks directly through the application. The conclusion is that it makes it easier for customers to order drinks and minimize contact with the cashier. The next suggestion that can be done is to develop the use of QR-codes that can be used to scan products selected by customers.
