PERANCANGAN SISTEM APLIKASI PRESENSI MENGUNAKAN GPS BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

Attendance presence is an essential aspect of employee attendance management. Conventional methods, such as manually recording attendance in a logbook, allow employees to commit fraud, such as proxy attendance, and result in paper waste. This study aims to develop a GPS-based attendance application on a website platform to improve the efficiency and accuracy of employee attendance management. The attendance application is developed using Visual Studio Code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as the programming languages. MySQL is used as the database platform. This study employs the Unified Modelling Language (UML) as the modelling method. The application can automatically record employee attendance via a website. The attendance system provides full access to administrators to input data, such as job positions, employee data, and location data, as well as to view attendance reports based on a specific time range. The use of this attendance application reduces manual errors and minimizes potential fraud.
