Abstract

PO Kapuas Indah is a PO engaged in electronic retail trade, without an information system that supportsordering products, buyers must come directly to the PO address that long distance away or via chat or telephone.Website-based sales are used to speed the transaction process that occurs, and provide more detailed informationto buyers. Data collection methods carried out by the author, namely by interview, observation, and literaturestudy. For system design using Visual Studio Code. The results of this study are in the form of a website-basedsales information system design that can convey product information more easily and quickly, the product salesprocess is faster, and makes it easier for buyers to place product orders more easily without come to the POaddress. It can be concluded from this research that with a website-based information system, information results can be obtained that are easier, more precise, faster and more accurate, for example, it can facilitate the process of product payment transactions that can transferred through the bank to owner of PO Kapuas Indah. The author'ssuggestion is this system needs to carry out system maintenance on the website regularly so that errors do notoccur in the system.
