PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN PADA PO. MANDIRI BERBASIS WEB

Abstract

Today's technology is at the core of every existing industry. PO. Mandiri is an industry engaged in thesale of building materials in West Kalimantan. In conducting sales transactions, PO. Mandiri is still donemanually and not computerized. In this writing, the author uses several research methods consisting of severalcomponents, namely the research design using descriptive research design methods, data collection methodsusing interviews, observations and literature studies, systems analysis techniques and system design techniquesusing Unified Modeling Language (UML). and Application design techniques using HTML, CSS, javascript,notepad ++ and PHP programming languages. Application development using XAMPP web server and MySQLas database storage. Based on the research conducted, an online sales transaction information system was produced on thePO. Mandiri which is expected to help in processing data quickly, precisely and accurately. The conclusion isthat the use of computer-based systems can improve service to customers through improving companyperformance. The suggestions that can be given are the need for accuracy in entering data, the need for systemuser training and maintenance of hardware and software that supports the performance of the proposed systemand the need for system evaluation if implemented.Keywords—System, E-commerce, Programming
