RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN BARANG PADA TOKO RIK MUSIK

Abstract

Technological developments in the era of globalization are increasing rapidly. Business is one area that is affected by technological developments, one of which is in data processing systems to help control inventory. At the Rik Musik Store, there is no data collection of goods, so there is no record of inventory. Until now, Rik Musik Store has been processing data regarding inventory. However, the data processing process carried out at this store only records income which is recorded based on archives in the form of purchase notes and sales notes. If the archive in the form of purchase notes and sales notes is damaged or lost, then this can cause difficulties in the revenue recording process. The method of collection carried out by the author is the method of interview, observation, and literature study. The system design technique used in this study is an object-oriented technique with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The system design application used is Microsoft Visual Basic Net 2010 to design the visual display, MySQL as a data storage area, and Crystal Report 13 to create reports.Based on the results of research that has been carried out by the author, it produces an inventory information system at the Rik Musik Store that can help the process of input, processing, and data storage so that it becomes easier. From this research, it can be concluded that the existence of an inventory information system at the Rik Musik Store can provide convenience and improve employee performance, so that store operations can be better. Suggestions are given so that the designed system can run well, namely by providing additional database backup features in order to anticipate data damage or loss.   Keywords: Design, System, Information, Inventory, Music.
