PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN TERKOMPUTERISASI PADA TOKO MITRA JAYA 88

Abstract

Information systems are important in an organization or store to support business activities. Without technology and information systems, problems will arise in the data processing and reporting process. Thus the problem experienced by Toko Mitra Jaya 88 is the slow process of data processing and reporting every month. The research design used is a descriptive research design. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, documentation studies and literature studies. System analysis and design techniques used are object-oriented techniques. The modeling tool used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system design application used is database design with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2008 and application design with Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 and report design with Crystal Report 13. This research produces an inventory and sales information system design which includes purchase transactions, purchase returns. , sales, settlement, maturity so as to produce reports on purchases, purchase returns, sales, sales returns, inventory, settlement, maturity, best-selling items. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the proposed system can facilitate data processing activities that occur in the store and help overcome problems that have been faced and the process of making reports more effective. Suggestions from the author in relation to the proposed system is the selection of human resources, always backup the database.   Keywords: Analysis, Design, Information Systems, Inventory, Sales
