PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN PADA TOKO BERKAT SESAMA

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of computerized technology systems. These developments have a great impact in various aspects of life. This encourages a privately owned business, namely Toko Berkat Sesama to use a computerized system so that it can support the operational activities of the business. In research design, the writer uses descriptive method and the data collection method used is observation, interview and literature study. The system design technique used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system design application used is Visual Basic.Net 2010, XAMPP 3.2.4, Crystal Report 8.5 and MySQL as the database. This research resulted in a design of a desktop-based sales information system at the Berkat Sesama Store which can facilitate the management and presentation of sales data. This desktop-based sales information system has features to provide information in processing sales and purchase data as well as designs related to operational activities at Toko Berkat Sesama. With the proposed system, it can support activities so as to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Store performance in processing and presenting data. Suggestions from the author are to add features in backing up data so that in the event of loss and damage, the data has been backed up and adding a better security system to avoid things that are not desirable.   Keywords: Design, System, Information, Sales, Desktop
