Abstract

Along with the development of technology, the level of human need for technology is increasingly needed. This technology is used in various sectors or in certain fields for example in the business field. The application of information system technology in the business sector is one example of meeting the information needs that are increasingly needed. PO Suban Motor is a form of business that is engaged in repair and sales services. As for running the business process, all recording is done manually, so that business processes that are still done manually make business performance run sluggish and can affect the company's future business processes, for that the author uses descriptive design as research design, while data collection techniques use observation, interviews and literature study. While systems analysis techniques in designing inventory information systems and repair services using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and application program design techniques using Microsoft Visual Basic 2010, MsQL and Crystal Report 13. With the results of research and design of this proposed system, it is expected to improve performance. PO Suban Motor, such as increasing efficiency, accuracy and accuracy in processing inventory data, sales and reporting. The conclusion from the research that the author has done at PO Suban Motor is expected to help PO Suban Motor in minimizing errors in the data processing process and can increase work effectiveness and efficiency in order to produce faster, more precise and accurate information. Suggestions from the author for the application of a computerized system, namely the PO Suban Motor need accuracy in entering data and providing training for users who will use inventory applications and repair services.   Keywords: Information Systems, Inventory, Sales and Design
