ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN DAN PENJUALAN MEUBILER CV STEVY ANGEL

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the role of technology and information systems are very supportive to the company. Technology and information systems are indispensable in supporting the the company's work activities. Without the help of technology and information systems, problems will arise in the data processing. Similarly, the problems experienced by CV Stevy Angel is the slow process of data processing and reporting on every months. By using a information system of inventory and sales, the company can more easily generating information in the form of reports quickly and accurately. The author uses descriptive research as the study design. While the data collection methods used were interviews, observation and literature study. System analysis and design technique used by the author is object-oriented technique and the modeling tool is Unified Modeling Language (UML). Application design technique used is the design of a database with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, the design of applications with Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 and the design of reports with Crystal Report 8.5. The research produced the design of information system of inventory and sales which includes purchase, purchase returns, sales, sales returns, the process of production and depreciation of raw materials to produce a purchases report, purchase returns report, sales report, sales returns report, production report, report of depreciation of raw materials. In conclusion, the proposed system can facilitate data processing activities that occur in the company, help the company to solve the problems and make the reporting process be more effective.   Keywords: Designing, Information Systems, Inventory, Sales
