RANCANG BANGUN GAME 3D CZEL BERBASIS ANDROID DENGAN METODE LINEAR CONGRUENTIAL GENERATOR
AbstractFirst Person Shooter Game is one type of game (genre) that is favored because it uses the first person view in which the player seems to be the main character in the game that surrounded by weapons and combat bullet. Combat bullets in FPS games are usually used as ammunition to fire with weapons used by players. This combat bullet is designed according to the needs of the programmer in its design. The Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method is one of the Pseudo Random Number Generator (PRNG) that is widely used in computer programs to generate random numbers and has many advantages such as speed, ease of implementation, portable code, parameter and test results. Therefore, this study intends to find out how to apply the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method in the Android platform FPS game designed so that the random numbers generated can be used to randomize the type of ammunition and the location of ammunition dropped.
