PERANCANGAN APLIKASI E-CANTEEN DENGAN METODE RAPID APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT BERBASIS ANDORID   Aditya1, Soebandi2, Antonius.3 123Sistem Informasi, Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Widya Dharma, Pontianak e-mail: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] Abstract The development of technology today, cannot be denied, makes all human work easier, the reason is because technology can change work that was originally manual to be automated. One example of a manual system that is still frequently encountered is the food and drink ordering system in the school canteen. Such a system is very common, but there are weaknesses such as accumulation of orders and errors in fulfilling orders, especially during breaks. The author uses a descriptive research design as a research design and is supported by the Rapid Application Development method so that the resulting application can be more in accordance with user needs. While the data collection method used is the literature study method which includes scientific books, research reports, scientific journals, and through questionnaires to provide an overview of the problem. The approach technique used is an object-oriented technique with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. Application design techniques using Android Studio 3.5.3 with Java v.8 language and using the Firebase Real Time Database to serve requests and data manipulation. This study aims to produce an E-Canteen application so that it can help the canteen reduce the buildup of orders and help minimize order fulfillment errors that often occur, especially during recess..   Keywords: Ordering, E-Canteen, Rapid Application Development, Firebase Real Time Database.
