SISTEM PENYAMPAIAN INFORMASI DAN FORUM PADA SENAT MAHASISWA FAKULTAS TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI WIDYA DHARMA PONTIANAK

Abstract

The student senate of the Faculty of Information Technology is an organization engaged in student affairs, so far the process of managing information on student activities, especially activities in the student senate of the Faculty of Information Technology at Widya Dharma University Pontianak, still uses conventional methods. Every information in the form of activities is conveyed by oral and written media to students. Since a pandemic like this, all information delivery is carried out by the senate through social media in the form of Instagram and Whatsapp Groups, information delivery is carried out by posting announcements on the senate's Instagram account and sending information to each class Whatsapp group or class Whatsapp group. In this study, the author uses a descriptive method, namely collecting data which is used as a description of the application design. The results of this study are in the form of a web of information delivery systems and forums for the student senate of the Faculty of Information Technology Widya Dharma Pontianak, which can be used by students and the senate in conducting discussions related to activities that will be held by the student senate and also a chatbot that can reply to questions asked by the Senate. general. From the problems above, a discussion forum was created that could accommodate any ideas from the senate and also a chatbot that could reply to general questions related to the agenda to be held by the senate, making it easier for the senate to carry out its duties.
