PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENYEWAAN PADA KOST DIGUS HAPPY

Abstract

Technological developments in the era of globalization are developing very rapidly and are influential in various aspects of the world of work because they are more effective and efficient. Various data processing is done computerized. The benefits of computers in human life provide information quickly and precisely at the same time with very high accuracy on every problem faced in an organization or company. The data collection method was carried out by interview method, observation method, and literature study method. The system design technique used in this study is an object-oriented technique modeled by the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Based on the results of this research, the authors built a web information system using the PHP 8.0.9 programming language with MySQL as the data storage. The manual method has been converted into a computerized rental information system, which is web-based at Kost Digus Happy, which can make the process of entering, processing and storing data easier. The information system is expected to produce accurate and integrated information. From this study it can be concluded that with the rental information system at Kost Digus Happy, it can simplify and improve performance in the transaction recording process, data processing, and in the reporting process, and also provides convenience to customers because the rental process can be carried out quickly and accurately. Suggestions are given so that the designed system can run well, namely developing it into an Android-based application, designing a more attractive system appearance, designing a more attractive system appearance and increasing system security to anticipate system damage or bugs and designing a payment system that can be added using fintech services so that tenants who do not have a bank account can easily make transactions.   Keywords: System, Information, Rental, Design, Digus Happy
