PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN BARANG PADA TOKO MAKMUR JAYA

Abstract

Nowadays, the development of information technology was growing rapidly especially in this globalization era. The use of computers can help the human activity in many areas of life, especially in the field of information technology. Makmur Jaya  store is a store that specialized in trading operations that is still done manually. By designing an information system of inventory and sales, is expected to reduce the problems that exist. Systems analysis and design that used in this research is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Database design of the system is using a SQL Server 2008 and the design of applications is using Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 and reports design is using Crystal Report 13. The results of the research is an information system of inventory and sales which includes the purchase, purchase returns , repayment of debt, sales and sales returns, resulting in a report purchases, purchase returns, debt maturities, sales and sales returns. In conclusion, the proposed system can help Makmur Jaya store in reducing the problems that exist and can improve efficiency and effectiveness in supporting operational activities of the company. Keywords: Design System, Information System, Inventory, Sales
