PENERAPAN KOMPUTERISASI SISTEM PENJUALAN PADA PO DANAU SENTARUM

Abstract

Technological developments have changed the manual system into an information system that can process data quickly. And information systems can be applied to PO Danau Sentarum which until now still uses the process of recording sales manually. This study aims to analyze the weaknesses and needs of inventory and sales information systems on PO Danau Sentarum to be given a proposed improvement in the form of an information system design that can meet company needs. The research method used by the author to collect data and information needed is the method of observation, unstructured interviews, and library research. The author uses object oriented system analysis techniques. The system modeling tool used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram Tools: Star UML 3.1.0. The system design application used is Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010, MS SQL Server 2012, Crystal Report 2013. This research produces an information system that can be used by the leadership to improve the company's services with consumers. In providing these services, the inventory and sales information system on PO Danau Sentarum uses input manually and can determine company policy in decision making. Keywords — Design, System, Information, Inventory, Sales
