Abstract

 Competition among mini markets in Indonesia is getting tighter, thus requiring owners to improve the operational and services quality to increase sales. Mini Market ACI still uses a manual system in inventory and sales. The number of daily transactions and the types of goods sold is quite large so that it requires a better control system. The objective of the writer’s research is to implement a computerized system in Mini Market ACI to increase sales and handle the inventory better to achieve the company’s ultimate goal. The writer conducted a descriptive research design and data collection techniques used were observation, interview and literature study. The writer uses data flow diagrams as data analysis techniques in inventory and sales information systems. The final results of this study are computerized systems can process data more accurately and quickly than the manual one. A computerized inventory system can produce information more quickly and accurately so that it can supporta better decision making process. A computerized sales system can improve service performance to buyers and can increase sales. The advice can be given to optimize system performance is providing training to the employees who operate the system so that the system can used well and smoothly. Keywords: Information Systems, Inventory, Computerization
