SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN DAN PENJUALAN OBAT PADA APOTEK PATENT FARMA IIPONTIANAK

Abstract

Computer and telecommunications technology has brought people into the era of infinite flow of information. Information needed by humans to complete various activities of his life, including at work. To produce useful information for decision making, information must be processed first. Information can be obtained from the information system. Apotek Patent Farma II applies a manual system for their work operations. This certainly reduces the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's work because it requires a lot of time to process inventory data and drug sales. In addition, the information results can be inaccurate due to errors in data processing. The purpose of this study is to provide a solution for Apotek Patent Farma II to overcome the problem. This research uses the Research and Development method where the authors analyze the company's needs and then build a computerized information system with a prototype model as a method of development. In addition, the authors also use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a visual modeling method for designing drug supply and sales information systems. Keywords – Information System, Prototype, inventory, sales, Unified Modeling Language (UML)
