MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS LAYANAN SISTEM INFORMASI ADMINISTRASI DENGAN PERANCANGAN DATA WAREHOUSE

Abstract

 Improving the educational quality is a continuous process, ranging from the improvement of educational facilities and infrastructures to the standards of educational facilities and infrastructures to the standards of educational units in certain areas. The development of information systems can be used for various needs, such as mapping in the educational world, as a decision-making system in a business activity. One of the report reporting aplications that can assist the executive at making decisions is data warehouse. The benefit of the data warehouse is to store data in a long periode time. Thus, it can be the right choice for Gembala Baik Educational Foundation to build the data warehouse system and to be the basis of developing the computerized system in handling every business activity in the Gembala Baik Education Foundation. The evaluation result of this research was the case of making and presenting the report in a short time in order to simplity the decision-making process. The testing showed the time average needed to import the data was 0.16 seconds. Meanwhile, the time needed to store the data was average 0.45 seconds. Keywords— Data warehouse, Nine Step Methodology, Quality of Service
