KOMPUTERISASI SISTEM INFORMASI PRODUKSI (STUDI KASUS PADA PD MONAS)

Abstract

Along with the times development of technology that being faster, it has brought a big impact to all the field layers, including in the working world. The existence of computers and information systems is very needed to support company’s operational activities. Without technology and information system’s help, there will be problems will appear in the stage of data processing. As well as the problem which is faced by PD Monas which are slow process of data processing and report. By using production information system, it can help in the  data processing and reporting data sothat it can be easier for  the company can more easily in producing information effectively and efficient. The author using descriptive research method as a research design. On the other hand, data collection method that used were interview method, observation, literature study and documentation study. Analytical techniques that used by authors is object-oriented techniques and Unified Modeling Language (UML) to describe the process of production information systems in PD Monas clearly. Application of the  system design which is used is database design with MySQL which is managed by phpMyAdmin, application design with Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010 and design report with Crystal Report 13. This research produces an application of information system design which can managed production data which includes purchase order transaction, return purchase receipt, production, service and good selling, that  produce accurate information of PD Monas in the form of purchase order report, return  purchase receipt, production,  service and sallig so that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of  company's work in taking decisions to reach the goals. Keywords: Analysis, Design, Information System, Production, Production Information System
