PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN DAN PENJUALAN BARANG (STUDI KASUS PADA TOKO MAHKOTA)

Abstract

Rapid technological developments led many companies to use the computerized system . The system is applied to the crown shop at the moment still using a manual system, which often cause delays, especially information concerning reports of corporate transactions and report inventory that must be controlled at all times, as well as less accurate data and also work that is not fas . The author uses descriptive research design as study design, while the research methods used were interviews, observation and literature study. The author uses the Unified Modeling Language diagrams, Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, Microsoft Office Access 2007 and Crystal Report 8.5. To design a system of inventory and sales information on Toko Mahkota. With the proposed computerized system then processes the data storage and inventory and sales data search will be much easier, faster, and accurate. The reporting process is also easier and faster because it is integrated with application software designed. In short with the performance of a computerized system of inventory and sales system will be much more effective and efficient running of the system that are still using the file system. The conclusion of the study is that by using a computer-based system to minimize errors in data processing, increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the company's work towards a better and ease in making the report. The suggestion from the author is a company needs to conduct training, maintenance and development of the system that has been made by the author in order to generate a system of inventory and sales information in accordance with corporate goals. Keywords: Information system, Information system design, inventory
