PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN DAN PENJUALAN PADA PO JAN KIONG

Abstract

PO Jan Kiong is a company engaged in the business of selling goods of daily needs are located in the Budi Utomo No.3A Siantan Hulu Pontianak in West Kalimantan. In running his business PO Jan Kiong still using manual systems, so many shortcomings that led to the emergence of problems such as long search process goods, errors in inventory and the quality of the resulting information is not relevant, accurate and timely. Therefore, the authors analyze and design an information system inventory and sale of goods at PO Jan Kiong with the aim to improve employee performance and business processes better. The author uses descriptive research design as study design, while the data collection methods used are observation, interview and literature study. The authors use the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as data analysis techniques and Microsoft Visual Basic.Net, Microsoft Access 2007 and Crystal Report 8.5 to create a system of inventory and sales. After conducting an analysis on PO Jan Kiong and to overcome the problems described earlier, the draft proposal is expected to assist in the processing of data and information inventory and sales of goods more quickly, and can improve service to customers, so that the productivity of PO Jan Kiong can be increased. The conclusion of the analysis and design of information systems inventory and sales in PO Jan Kiong is a draft inventory and sales information system which enables authors proposed data processing and information quickly and accurately as well as data storage more effectively and efficiently. To optimize system performance inventory and sales information, it is recommended to perform system development has been made in accordance with the needs.Keywords : systems, information, inventory and sales.
