ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERSEDIAAN DAN PENJUALAN PADA TOKO GEMILANG JAYA

Abstract

The increasing developments in technology now allows a manual system to a computerized system. And it also can be applied to Toko Gemilang Jaya who is still using the recording process manually. This study aimed to analyze the weaknesses and needs inventory and sales information systems at Toko Gemilang Jaya to be given in the form of the draft proposed improvement of information systems that can meet the needs of companies. This study aims to produce an inventory of information system design and sales, improve work efficiency so that the process of business activities can proceed smoothly and well, increasing the accuracy in data processing and the ability to provide information faster. Research carried out aiming to identify the problems of information systems on a system running at Toko Gemilang Jaya and produce a program application inventory information and sales include, purchases, and purchase returns resulting report inventory report purchases and sales as well as statements and purchase returns. Inventory and sales information system is also supported by the use of barcodes in order to help reduce the error rate when entering data into the system. The conclusion of the study is that by using a computer-based system that can minimize errors in data processing, can simplify and speed the process of activities within firms, as well as ease in making the report. Keywords ___ information, system, inventory, sales,barcode
