Abstract

Development of information technology and the Internet is increasingly rapidly. Many instance using information technology or computer technology in every field of business.  With the use of the system technology manual does may result in the business field but also making decisions is not line with expectations. Therefore, it takes a computerized system that can be used for decision making. System that can produce decision called decision support system (DSS). This writing use descriptive research design. While the data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis technique of systems used in the research is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). Design technique of the system to design the database is SQL Server 2008, programming language used are Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010. This research resulted in a drat of the decision support system of decision making car purchases to PT Anzon Autoplaza using Simple Additive Weigthing (SAW) to help consumers making informed decisions car selections. Method SAW is a weightd method of housing. The concept of this method is to find the weighted sum of performance rating on each alternative of all attributes. Conclusion, with this proposal system can assist in decision making car selection, improve service to consumer to give information of car. Suggestions from the authors with respect to the proposed system is the development of systems made in accordance with the development of the development of the times and needs, inputting data entered must be appropriate, and system maintenance needs to be done so that the system is not damaged.  Keywords:  Design, System, DSS, SAW, Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2010
