IMPLEMENTASI SYNCHRONOUS RECOGNITION DALAM PERMAINAN MENEBAK NAMA HEWAN BERBASIS ANDROID
Abstract
Artificial intelligence can be applied to various applications, one of which is Speech Recognition. The history of speech recognition development began in 1952 with the invention of the automatic digit recognizer (AUDREY) by Bell Laboratories which was able to recognize numeric sounds. At this time Speech Recognition or commonly known as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is a technique and system development that functions to recognize spoken words via a smartphone. This technology recognizes words by converting analog data to digital by matching these signals with a certain method stored in the device's operating system. The words spoken will be transformed into digital signals by changing sound waves into a set of binary numbers which are then adjusted to certain codes to identify the words so that Speech Recognition can be used to recognize sounds in animal name guessing games. The system modeling tool used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system design application used is Android Studio programming. The research carried out resulted in the Animal Name Guess game application that can be used as a learning medium which is a game for children to learn to recognize the names of animals by speaking the names of the animal images that will be displayed in the application. In addition, the Animal Name Guess game application can be used anywhere provided the user has a smartphone that uses the Android operating system and has installed the Animal Name Guess application. From the whole research process, it can be concluded that the application uses a speech recognition system for the process of recognizing words in games that can be used as a learning medium in recognizing the names of animals which aim to help children more easily recognize the diversity of animals. The suggestions addressed to readers are to develop this application for the better and improve the appearance to make it even more attractive.
