APLIKASI SISTEM PERPARKIRAN BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS (IOT)
Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) based parking system is a combination system of microcontroller prototype, web application and database that are integrated in realizing an efficient parking process and management for organization and visitors through the use of wireless networks for data transmission. In designing this system, the author studied the literature related to the development of Internet of Things (IoT) projects, microcontrollers and the development of PHP-based web applications. The author also uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a system analysis technique as well as in system design, the author uses Arduino IDE to design the prototype source code, XAMPP as an SQL database management system and Microsoft Visual Studio to design web applications. In addition, the author conducts testing on the parking system to test how the system works. This research resulted in an Internet of Things (IoT) based parking system application that eliminates the shortcomings of conventional parking systems, and one of its features is efficient entry/exit access by simply tapping the RFID card on the RFID sensor and providing a complete parking-related information system to management and visitors. The conclusion obtained is the application of an Internet of Things (IoT) based parking system that works optimally in handling the parking process, providing parking-related information to management and visitors and assisting management in managing parking efficiently and effectively.
