Abstract

This study aims to produce an online educational game application for early childhood by utilizing multimedia such as text, images, sound, animation and video. This research provides an opportunity for the author to apply the knowledge that has been learned into a scientific research and produce application outputs that can be useful for the scope of education. The benefits of this research for users are to help early childhood in recognizing letters, recognizing numbers, understanding calculations and reading. The results of research conducted by the author are in order to produce educational applications for early childhood based on Android so that they can gain knowledge in learning to recognize letters, recognize numbers, read and calculate addition and subtraction operations. The author can conclude that the educational application created is an application intended for early childhood with an age range of up to six years so that it is easy to recognize basic letters and numbers in Indonesian and English. The song features and also the sound of the spelling of each letter and number given are quite clear. For how to use the application is not difficult and very easy to use for children from an early age. The author provides suggestions that are expected to be useful to other readers, namely adding new features that are more interesting, perhaps with moving images or funny and interesting videos. More topics of material are reproduced by discussing more.
