PERANCANGAN LAYANAN PENGAJUAN SURAT BERBASIS WEB PADA KANTOR DESA SOSOK

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has made many changes, especially in the field of information. Not only in the field of information, but also in several other fields such as government. Correspondence filing services at the Sosok Village Office are one form of public service that plays an important role in supporting community activities, such as processing domicile certificates, cover letters, and other letters. However, the conventional service system that is still used at the Sosok Village Office often causes various obstacles, such as process delays, recording errors, and people who have to queue for a long time. This research aims to analyze the mail service system at the village office and design a web-based solution to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service accessibility. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews with village officials, and literature study. The analysis and design technique used is an object-oriented technique with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. This system design uses the Visual Studio Code editor and the database used is MySQL. The results of this study produce a website-based letter submission site that makes it easier for officers to manage letter data, produces an effective and efficient letter submission service process, and provides convenience to the Sosok Village Office.
