PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI LOKASI DAN FASILITAS KAFE DI KOTA PONTIANAK

Abstrak

This research discusses the design of a location and facility information system for cafes in Pontianak City to assist in finding information about registered cafes. With the growing development of the cafe business causing the number of cafes in Pontianak City to continuously increase, searching for information about cafes depends on several social media platforms such as Instagram, X, Facebook, and other social media. Information provided by social media is sometimes inefficient because important required information is not presented directly and must be searched for one by one, such as information about cafe facilities which usually requires watching videos on social media pages. The purpose of this system is to create an interactive platform that is easy for anyone to use to present the most needed cafe information such as facilities provided, menus, and other important information. This system includes features such as an interactive map that uses the Google Maps API, information filtering features that can be used easily, and review and rating features for system users. This research utilizes the development of information technology and the growth of the cafe business in Pontianak City to build a cafe information system that can provide more efficient information by providing a web page that can help information seekers. In this paper, we highlight the importance of efficiency in information searching so that information seekers are facilitated with information that is easily accessible and searchable. The results of this research are expected to provide an information system that is useful for cafe information seekers and cafe owners.
