PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN MOTOR LISTRIK PADA PT. SCOOLIC MOTORS INDUSTRIES BERBASIS WEB
Abstract
Information technology is a combination of computerization and communication technologies. It consists of systems made up of software and hardware used to process, manage, retrieve, organize, store, and manipulate data in various ways to produce quality information. Information systems are highly important and useful in today’s digital globalization era. The development of computer technology also influences daily lifestyle and work habits. This progress also affects the use of technology in the field of buying and selling. PT. Scoolic Motors Industries was established on March 3, 2023, and is located at Jalan Veteran No. 10, Pontianak, West Kalimantan. PT. Scoolic Motors Industries is one of the pioneering companies in the distribution of more environmentally friendly electric-powered motorcycles. The company sees an opportunity to improve its sales system to expand its target market coverage. Therefore, PT. Scoolic Motors Industries needs a sales website to reach more customers. The system analysis and design technique used is object-oriented modeling with Unified Modeling Language (UML). The system design applications used include Visual Studio Code, XAMPP Control Panel, HTML, CSS, PHP, and Balsamiq. This research aims to develop a web-based sales information system that can assist the company in its business processes. The conclusion of this system design is that it provides price and inventory information, processes sales data, and generates sales reports.
