PERANCANGAN SISTEM MENU ORDERING BERBASIS ANDROID PADA WARUNG KOPI OTENTIK
Abstract
The manual ordering system at Warung Kopi Otentik causes service delays and increases the risk of order errors. This has an impact on customer satisfaction and reduces operational efficiency. This study aims to design and develop an android-based menu ordering system that can simplify the ordering process and improve the accuracy and speed of service. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, observations, and interviews. The system design is carried out with an object-oriented approach using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a modeling tool. System testing is carried out using the black box method to ensure that the functionality runs as expected. The developed android application can help cashiers place orders digitally and send order data directly to the kitchen. This application also helps admins to manage menus, manage staff accounts, and access sales reports. This android-based menu ordering system can improve operational efficiency and service quality at Warung Kopi Otentik. Future research is recommended to add new features that can expand the functionality of the system and improve the convenience and efficiency of using the application.
