SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN PADA CV RIAK BUMI INDONESIA BERBASIS WEBSITE

Abstract

The development of technology helps in completing tasks. One of the impacts of technological advancement is aiding in the field of sales. CV Riak Bumi Indonesia was established in 2000 and is a business entity engaged in the sale of forest products. At present, the sales system is done manually, which results in data damage and loss, as well as requiring a long time to find the necessary data. Manual sales lead to difficulties in reaching more customers. Based on these problems, researchers designed a website-based sales information system that can assist in the sales process, data storage, and generate effective and efficient information. Data collection methods were conducted through observation, interviews, and literature studies, with system analysis using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) through the StarUML application. The system design application used Visual Studio Code with Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, and MySQL database through XAMPP. With the existence of a website-based sales information system for forest products, it is hoped that it can facilitate the business process and reach more customers, thus improving the quality of service.
