Abstract

The classifying process for subject paper is still carried out manually, while the volume of paper continues to increase, which in turn increase the complexity of classification task. Considers the current advances in natural language processing technology, opportunities arise to automate classification tasks. In this research, data
collection was carried out by conducting observations and documentation studies. The validation of algorithm was carried out using the Black Box and confusion matrix methods. Then an application was developed using Visual Studio Code with Python as the programming language. The application shows a promising results in classifies paper with an accuracy more than 67%. It can be concluded that the Bi-RNN algorithm can be implemented into applications.
