PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENJUALAN SPAREPART DAN SERVIS (STUDI KASUS PADA PO JAYA MOTOR)

Abstract

PO Jaya Motor is a private company engaged in the sale of cars spare parts and service. Sales and service information system that is used still manual. With this system, errors in the recording of the data is very vulnerable. Therefore it is necessary to design a computerized information system that can support Operational activities in the company, that also providing accurate information. In collecting the data, the authors used observation and interviews technics to the owner of the company. Data have been obtained, analyzed, to find problems encountered. The analysis technique used is the Unified Modeling Language (UML), Normalization and Data Dictionary. Then, the author created an information system applications by using Microsoft Visual Basic.NET 2010 application program and the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as the database are integrated with each other so as to produce good, accurate and relevant information so as to support the company leadership in decision-making. Suggestions can be given by the author are make limit to the users who can access the system and always perform a data backup.
