Abstract

With the development of Science and Technology (Science and Technology), especially the development of Information Technology (IT) which greatly assist in the processing and presentation of information. This is in line with the development of the use of computers as a means of processing the data to produce information so that the use of computers is a top priority in obtaining information quickly and qualified, compared with processing still using manual systems. Through a computer-based information system (Computer Based Information System (CBIS)) may provide better results in meeting the needs of the company. Further increase global competition, a company must consider the needs of customers such as the availability of needed goods and order goods on time in order to compete effectively with the company - another company. The larger the enterprise, the greater the need for the information required, it is not possible for an enterprise to continuously use the recording manually because it will require considerable time. In the data processing when an entity retains the manual way, then the future for these enterprises will be left behind and lose in the competition. Computer-based systems provide a lot of convenience, especially in sales in order to provide information for management in managing sales better so as to assist in the decision support process.
