Abstract

In carrying out its activities PO Alam Jaya Steel still using manual system. Sales are stillrecorded manually recording inventory and card stock. Problems still occur due to using a manual system to a PO Alam Jaya Steel, among others, the lack of precision that made a mistake in the listing on the card stock, loss of card stock, errors in recording sales invoices, processing large amounts of data calculation is slow and high-risk errors, search the required data takes a long time. The author conducted research and analysis on the design of the system and then create a new system to overcome the existing problems and is expected to increase sales and control inventory better direction so as to achieve the goal desired by the company. Based on the research conducted, it can be expected to firm conclusions can be easier to present information that is needed, have protection prior to entry into thesystem, has a larger storage media, making reports more quickly and accurately, and the stocks become more controllable.
