EFEKTIVITAS PELAKSANAAN MUTASI BAGI PENINGKATAN KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA CREDIT UNION KELING KUMANG DI SINTANG
Abstract
Credit Union Keling Kumang running financial services namely saving-lending. During its improvement, based on the data, Credit Union Keling Kumang has high mutation, promotion and demotion. The Staffs’ achievement is good or bad can be influenced by mutation, promotion and demotion. There are 2 things which probably happen, whether the achievement will improve or goes down. When the achievement goes down, it is important to find out how is the mutation policy nowadays and the effectiveness of mutation for staffs’ achievement. The descriptive method was used in this research as the tool to collect the study case data in Credit Union Keling Kumang Sintang. The data had been collected by using observation, interview, questioner, and documenter study. The population is 283 staffs that have been reassigned. The sample is collected by using purposive sampling. The numbers of sample are 74 people with various of criterias. Quantitative data analysis is used to analyze the data which based on the result of participants’ responses through the questioners given. In order to make the data analysis clear, for each response is given score using Likert Scale.
Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that most participants who participate in this research are male, marriage status are considered, has been working for 2-5 years and 25-30 years old. Based on the participants’ responses toward the effectiveness of mutation for the improvement of staffs’ achievement, most of them are agree with the highest score is 69% and the highest average score is 4.09 Likert Scale. Meanwhile, the less response is given to the item of mutation for staffs with low achievement which 28% said they do not agree and the other 28% said they agree. Therefore, based on this research finding, it is recommended that CU Keling Kumang Sintang to keep maintaining the mutation policy. It is has been proved that by doing the mutation it is effective to improve staffs’ achievement. A resolute step should be given to the staffs with low achievement especially toward staffs that tend to do fraud things, the Termination of Employment should be given without mutation.
