KINERJA RUMAH SAKIT KHARITAS BHAKTI PONTIANAK
Abstract
Kharitas Bhakti Hospital of Pontianak as one means of health care providers with trained paramedics to handle medical problems for better health recovery. Kharitas Bhakti Hospital is a private hospital that provides inpatient service, outpatient service and emergency room. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors that can improve the performance of paramedics in Kharitas Bhakti Hospital of Pontianak. The research method used in this research is descriptive method and the data collection is done by observation, interview and questionnaire. The sample is collected from fifty five respondents. Data analysis used in this research was performance and importance analysis using Likerts scale and Cartesian diagram.
Based on the overall results of the research it can be concluded that from the indicators of individual factors, hospital should pay more attention to the routine of increasing number of paramedics in each period because the performance will be better as the number of paramedics with the number of beds available becomes more balance. From the indicators of psychological factors, the hospital should consider the appropriateness of workload with the skill of each paramedic. This is related to the effectiveness of paramedics in the workplace. From indicators of organizational factors, the hospital need responsive and capable paramedics. In addition, the hospital need to consider the completeness of medical equipment. The more complete the medical equipment, the more effective the service would be. Promotion is also important to boost paramedics performance.
